On May 29, Wilmer Lewis of Rockville, MD, passed away peacefully.
Beloved husband of Helen M. Lewis; devoted father of Mark J. Lewis and Wayne L. Lewis; cherished grandfather of Emma C. Lewis, Samuel Z. Lewis, Solomon Kikuchi and Hannah Kikuchi. He is also survived by his daughters-in-law Jill W. Lewis and Yoko Kikuchi.
He was a kind, decent, hard-working man who took wonderful care of his family, and who instilled a love of learning in his entire family. His early years were shaped by the Great Depression and service in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
