On Sept. 11, Howard Rubin of Washington, D.C., passed away at 93. Howard is survived by his wife, Ellen Foer; his sons Dr. Barry Rubin (Dr. Carole) and Sam Rubin (Harriet); and his grandchildren Mia Rubin, Nat Rubin, Mickey Rubin (Rona) and Bobby Rubin (Margo). He also leaves his stepdaughters Dana Foer (Dr. Craig Vander Kolk), Susan Rigby (Steve) and Debby Goldberg (David), along with step-grandchildren Victoria Baker Cain (David Baker), Nicholas Cain (Joselyn), Alex Cain, Madeline Hoffner (Jacob) and Ryan Goldberg. Howard was also a proud great-grandfather to three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Roberta Rubin, and his son Richard Rubin.
